This adorable feline was born on November 7, 2020, and has quickly become an internet sensation. Do you know how Richie got his name? Well, we had a certain criterion in choosing his first name – it should start with the letter R. We finally settled on Richie since it was believed that cats respond better to a name with an “i” in it. However, it seems like it’s not working for Richie yet, but we find it amusing nonetheless.

As for his personality, Richie is a unique cat-dog hybrid. He enjoys following his mom everywhere and loves to snuggle in the morning when he wakes up. But don’t expect him to be clingy all day long because he prefers to have his alone time. Nonetheless, he loves playing and being close to humans. Although he’s also curious, he tends to be a bit fearful at times. This trait has been with him since he was little, where he was always the submissive one among his siblings.

Wow, Richie’s coat is absolutely stunning! Can you tell me more about his grooming routine? Since he has a lot of hair, I make sure to brush it regularly to prevent any knots from forming. Whenever he goes outside, his hair tends to get dirty and tangled, so I have to be extra diligent. In addition, I clean his eyes, ears, and teeth once a week to maintain his overall hygiene.

Are there any other pets in your household that Richie interacts with? Unfortunately, not at the moment. However, we are considering getting him a companion in the future. It’s important to remember that having a pet requires a lot of time, effort, and money, so we have to make sure we’re up for the task.

What are some of Richie’s favorite pastimes? He loves to observe the animals outside our window since we live in the countryside, surrounded by nature. Additionally, he has taken a liking to the kitchen and enjoys watching us cook – it’s become his little domain!

One thing that sets Richie apart from other Maine Coons is his unique appearance. I have never seen another cat quite like him, and my followers seem to agree. If anyone knows of another Maine Coon with a similar look, I would love to hear about it.

While Richie has gained a lot of attention on social media, it’s important to remember that owning an animal is a big responsibility, especially with fragile cats like the Maine Coon.
